We are happy to announce the auditions for our Christmas reading. We are looking to cast up to 8 actors of different ages, gender, and backgrounds: all you need to audition is a good voice and English reading skills.  The reading will take place at the Café Marta in Bern on 7th December. 

Auditions will be on 13th and 15th September from 18:00 to 20:00 at the Nydeggkirche Jungraum (Mattenege 7) in Bern. To sign up, please send an e-mail to info@thecaretakers.ch with your preferred date for the audition and your contact details (full name and phone number). You’ll be asked to bring a text of your own choosing to the audition, so make sure to select one where you can show off your voice!

The final texts for the reading will be decided on collaboratively once the project is cast, based on a theme and a selection of core texts provided by the production team.

Rehearsals will take place on Thursday evenings starting 5th October (except Reading Pool on Thursdays), plus two Mondays in the second half of November. The reading will be co-directed by Hulda Rún Jónsdóttir and Matea Todorovski and produced by Angela Alzina. More information will be provided at the auditions.
